The Beginning
I left Eugene at 4am Wednesday morning. Exactly 25 hours after my original start date. I managed to complete a couple of projects so I wouldn't have to work while on the road.
I will post some images of the trip from Eugene to San Francisco.

A Cable Car:
Last night I learned how to ride free ($5.00). Tim has a pass, he gets on and flashes his pass and I "act" as if I have one, fumble around acting as if I am bothered to show pass. Last year my conscience got the best of me and I coughed up the fiver. This time, Tim advised me strongly not to give in. By the way, Tim's apartment is right across the street from the "cable car barn". Quaint but extremely noisy. We had dinner at a small Greek restaurant on Grant St. Yum!
Today is Thursday.
Tim and I are going for a walk later today. Meanwhile, I am playing the parking game in this neighborhood (near Chinatown) by checking on my parked van every now and then. I have two hours after the tire is marked by the parking sheriff. So far so good. Otherwise, I'd have to use a paid parking lot and pay a minimum of 25 bucks a day.
